CM Yogi to Ride in Airborne Train, Know Complete Schedule of Japan Tour

CM Yogi Adityanath is set to embark on a visit to Singapore and Japan from February 22, marking his second foreign trip during his tenure, with a highlight being a test ride on a maglev train in Japan.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will travel to Singapore and Japan starting February 22, which will be his second foreign trip since taking office nine years ago. His previous trip was in 2017 to Myanmar, after which he refrained from overseas travel for an extended period. As part of a strategy to boost investment and modern infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister is set to visit these two significant Asian countries.

One of the most notable aspects of his trip to Japan will be a journey on a maglev train, which is considered a cutting-edge mode of transportation. The maglev train can reach speeds of up to 600 kilometers per hour. During this visit, CM Yogi will undertake a test ride covering around 100 kilometers, providing him an experience unlike any other, as the train levitates above the track using magnetic forces.

The maglev technology, known for its lack of friction between wheels and tracks, represents the future of rail transport. The absence of this friction allows the train to achieve significantly higher speeds compared to traditional rail systems, highlighting the advancements made in transportation technology that could be emulated in India in the future. Yogi Adityanath's journey aims to not only showcase such innovations but also to attract investments back to his state.
