28th CIPM carries out action against burglaries and thefts in Juruti
Two men suspected of burglary and theft in Juruti, Brazil, were arrested by the police after a midnight incident involving the theft of food, personal items, and work equipment.
On October 18, police from the 28th Company of Independência Militar (CIPM) arrested two men in Juruti, Pará, for their involvement in residential burglaries. The arrests followed a report of a break-in that occurred during the night, where the victim indicated that various food items, a pair of flip-flops, and a backpack containing personal protective equipment were stolen, amounting to a loss of approximately R$ 900.
Upon receiving the call about the burglary, the police quickly mobilized to search for the suspects. The investigation led them to a nearby residence where they found the stolen backpack. The individual at the location claimed that another suspect had thrown the backpack there to dispose of the stolen items. This crucial lead helped the police connect the suspects to the reported crime and gather necessary evidence for the investigation.
The two suspects were then taken to the Juruti Civil Police Station for legal processing, along with the recovered stolen items. This incident underscores the ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat property crimes in the region and highlights the importance of community cooperation in reporting suspicious activities.
