Estonian biathlete Johanna Talihärm has been elected as the first Estonian member of the International Olympic Committee's Athletes' Commission during the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
Johanna Talihärm has made history by becoming the first Estonian to be elected to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Athletes' Commission, an achievement announced by the Estonian Olympic Committee. During the elections held at the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, a total of 11 athletes competed for two available spots, with approximately 84% of eligible athletes casting their votes. Talihärm garnered 983 votes to secure her position, alongside South Korean bobsledder Yunjong Won who received 1176 votes.
