Kristjan Ilves notably excelled in the competition, delivering the best jump of the event in the second round with a remarkable distance of 127 meters, yielding 126.2 points. Despite the valiant efforts of the Estonian duo, they concluded the event with a total score of 191.2 points, landing them in 10th place out of 14 competing teams. Their final position placed them ahead of teams from Italy, China, Poland, and Ukraine, showcasing a commendable performance in a highly competitive field.

The event concluded with the German team of Johannes Rydzek and Vinzenz Geiger taking first place. With the Estonian pair starting the ski race in the afternoon at a time disadvantage of 1 minute and 14 seconds behind the leaders, the competition highlighted their potential but also indicated the challenges they faced in achieving a higher rank.
