Death while flying a kite! Innocent fell from a two-story roof, died in hospital after 4 days

A 14-year-old boy named Shivam Baghel died after falling from a two-story roof while flying a kite in Gwalior, India.

In a tragic incident in the Banshipura area of Gwalior's Murar police station region, 14-year-old Shivam Baghel lost his life after falling from the roof of his two-story house while flying a kite. During the kite flying, Shivam lost his balance and fell straight to the ground, becoming unconscious upon impact. His family rushed out to find him lying near the front door, unconscious and with kite string tangled around his hand. They quickly transported him to Birla Hospital in Gwalior for emergency treatment.

Doctors reported that Shivam sustained severe internal injuries to his head due to the fall from the two-story building. Despite the immediate medical attention and hopes from his family and doctors for his recovery, his condition remained precarious. For four days, he fought for his life in the hospital, but unfortunately, medical interventions could not avert his tragic fate.

The incident highlights the potential dangers associated with kite flying, especially on rooftops, emphasizing the need for increased awareness and safety measures to prevent similar accidents. The loss of young lives due to such preventable incidents serves as a grim reminder of the inherent risks present in activities that are often thought of as harmless entertainment.
