On February 18th, the documentary film 'Karp', directed by Keiti Väliste, premiered at Kumu as a celebration of the 20th anniversary of Kumu Documentary. The film highlights architect Raine Karb, known for designing some of the most monumental buildings in Estonia. Karb himself states that he does not aim to shape the cityscape or create art, but merely addresses problems through his architectural work.

The audience is taken on a journey through Karb's mindset, spatial thinking, and creative world, exploring how he interacts with his environment and the conceptualization of his architectural projects. With a strong emphasis on Karb’s approach to architecture, the film not only showcases his works but also offers insights into the mind of one of Estonia's notable architects. The premiere featured a full house, and due to significant public interest, an additional screening was arranged on the same evening to accommodate more viewers.
