Train Station Square in Starnberg: Drunk Man Causes Disturbance and Acts Aggressively

A 46-year-old man was detained for causing a disturbance while intoxicated at the train station square in Starnberg, damaging property before being subdued by police.

On Wednesday evening, a 46-year-old man was reported to have been causing a disturbance at the train station square in Starnberg, Germany. Witnesses alerted the police around 9:30 PM, indicating that the man was behaving aggressively. Initially, the man damaged a table at a nearby restaurant, prompting the police to intervene in order to handle the situation.

Upon the police's arrival, the suspect was located in a bar on Wittelsbacher Street, where the officers instructed him to leave due to his disruptive behavior. When he refused to comply, the officers attempted to physically escort him out, leading to the man flailing his arms and acting violently, although fortunately, he did not injure anyone during this episode.

As a result of his aggressive conduct and intoxication, the man was taken into custody. After a few hours, he calmed down and was released. The police have filed charges against him for property damage, estimating the cost of the damage to the restaurant table at around 400 euros, as well as for resisting law enforcement officers.
