On Monday, a 30-year-old woman was injured after falling on rocks at Ondina beach in Salvador during an attempted robbery. According to the Civil Police, the victim was with a friend when she saw two suspects approaching and attempted to run away, resulting in her losing her balance and falling. The suspects fled the scene without taking anything.

Emergency services, known as Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu), were called to the scene and assisted the woman, who was subsequently taken to the Hospital Geral do Estado (HGE) with minor abrasions. The incident is currently under investigation by the Territorial Delegacy of Rio Vermelho, which oversees the area where the incident took place. As of the latest report, no arrests had been made.
