By 5:15 PM, traffic was still partially obstructed heading towards Vitória due to the aftermath of this collision.

In another accident earlier that day around noon, a motorcyclist was severely injured after colliding with two trucks in the Dom Bosco neighborhood, located in the western part of the city. The injured motorcyclist was quickly transported to the João XXIII Hospital in the Centro-Sul region of Belo Horizonte for urgent medical attention. The series of accidents raises concerns about road safety and the need for improved traffic management on busy routes like the Ring Road.

Authorities, including the Military Road Police, responded to both incidents to manage the situations and assess the injuries reported.
