Actinver Circuit: more than a thousand people come together against cancer

Over a thousand participants joined the first edition of Circuito Actinver, aimed at strengthening timely detection and support for colorectal and pancreatic cancer patients.

On February 15th, the first edition of Circuito Actinver took place at the Hipódromo de las Américas, gathering over a thousand participants including runners, families, volunteers, and strategic partners. This initiative, sponsored by Corporación Actinver, combined sports and social commitment with a clear purpose: to enhance timely detection and support for patients suffering from colorectal and pancreatic cancer. The event featured 5 and 10-kilometer races, as well as children's activities and physical activation dynamics, exceeding expectations and positioning itself as a sustainable platform.

Luis Hernández Rangel, the CEO of Corporación Actinver, expressed his admiration for the energy and diversity displayed by the attendees. He noted a significant increase in female participation, stating, "It's motivating to see young people, children, and especially so many women competing with discipline and enthusiasm. A few years ago, female participation was lower; today they are at the forefront." Hernández Rangel's comments highlight the evolving landscape of community involvement in sporting events, particularly in raising awareness for significant health issues like cancer.

The success of Circuito Actinver not only serves as a testament to community solidarity but also emphasizes the importance of health awareness and proactive engagement in disease prevention. By integrating sport with social responsibility, the initiative aims to create an enduring impact on public health, fostering a culture of early detection and support for affected individuals and their families.
