Ukraine's leading postal service breaks into US market with UPS partnership

Nova Poshta, Ukraine's leading private courier and postal service, has partnered with UPS to allow shipments from the U.S. to Ukraine.

Nova Poshta, the leading private courier and postal service in Ukraine, has recently partnered with UPS, marking its entry into the U.S. market. This collaboration allows customers across the United States to send packages weighing up to 30 kilograms to Ukraine through 6,000 UPS Store locations. The service aims to cater mainly to consumer-to-consumer (C2C) customers as well as small and medium-sized businesses, enhancing the convenience and speed of sending personal items, gifts, or small shipments. Prices begin at $25 for packages weighing one kilogram and go up to $200 for the maximum weight.

Since its establishment in 2001, Nova Poshta has experienced significant growth, particularly during the challenges posed by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The post service has expanded its operations to 17 countries, establishing itself as one of Ukraine's most successful companies in the logistics and postal sectors. This move into the U.S. market is part of a broader strategy for Nova Poshta to diversify its services and reach Ukrainian customers living abroad, as well as to facilitate international shipping for those in Ukraine.

The partnership with UPS not only strengthens Nova Poshta's service offerings but also signifies a growing recognition of the potential in logistics and shipping services between Ukraine and the U.S. As consumer demand for affordable and efficient shipping options increases, this collaboration positions Nova Poshta as a key player in the transatlantic postal service industry. With this initiative, both companies stand to benefit, enhancing their market presence while providing valuable services to consumers and businesses alike.
