Leona Popović did not complete the second slalom race at the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina, while her fellow competitor Zrinka Ljutić finished in 26th place. The Olympic champion in this event was American skier Mikaela Shiffrin. After her second run, Popović discussed her performance, acknowledging that she did not start strong and struggled to improve her time. Despite her disappointment in the final outcome, she felt she had some good segments during the race that she could take into the rest of the season.
