This charter was presented during a session titled 'AI and Media: Opportunities, Responsible Pathways, and the Road Ahead' held at the Bharat Mandapam.

During the event, which was attended by Union Minister Jitin Prasada, Kalli Puri emphasized the necessity of this charter for the responsible use of AI in the media industry. She articulated that the implementation of these nine points is essential for leveraging AI positively in the field. Furthermore, Puri participated in panel discussions on the first day of the AI Impact Summit, sharing significant insights regarding the applications of AI in media and underscoring the importance of treating India's citizens as valuable resources in the context of AI advancements.
