Kaziukas Fair will bustle in the capital: this year its territory is changing

The Kaziukas Fair in Vilnius is expanding into new areas this year, creating a larger festival experience that emphasizes tradition, community, and innovation.

The Kaziukas Fair, a vibrant cultural event in Vilnius, attracts people from across Lithuania and neighboring countries every year. It aims to blend tradition with contemporary experiences, fostering a sense of community and openness to new ideas. According to Vilnius Deputy Mayor Simona Bieliūnė, the fair is not only a celebration for the city but also for the entire country's cultural landscape.

This year, the fair's territory will change significantly, as it will no longer take place on Barboros Radvilaitės and Maironio Streets. Instead, it will expand into new city spaces, forming a larger route that surrounds Gediminas Hill. This new layout aims to enhance the overall experience and accessibility of the fair, highlighting the importance of cultural continuity and community involvement.

The main route of the Kaziukas Fair will stretch along the walking paths in the park of the Lithuanian National Museum, with new initiatives like the "Artists' Square" near the King Mindaugas monument. This will provide a platform for applied arts, encouraging local artisans and contributing to a festive atmosphere that celebrates Lithuanian traditions while welcoming fresh perspectives.
