The newly operational terminal stop 'Akta Posidon' officially connects the tram Line 7 with the Port of Piraeus, resolving a long-standing issue that had hampered public transportation. K. Kyranakis, the Deputy Minister of Transport, highlighted that what was a ready but neglected tram stop due to miscommunication among public services has finally opened. The stop had previously become a site of degradation and social issues, rather than serving the citizens commuting to and from the port.

With the new tram stop now functioning, thousands of passengers will benefit from convenient access to the port, eliminating the inconvenience of carrying luggage through the streets of Piraeus.
