The samba schools parade in Guaratinguetá marked the end of the carnival celebrations in the city, featuring six samba schools performing on Avenida Presidente Vargas. Following them, the Acadêmicos do Campo do Galvão samba school made a memorable appearance, bringing along Rio de Janeiro's renowned flag bearer, Selminha Sorriso, who expressed her excitement and commitment to the samba school's legacy as she celebrated 30 years with them.
