Lidl is offering free bread and croissants every time you shop with two exceptions
Lidl is providing customers with free bakery items through a voucher system via the Lidl Plus app with some exceptions.
Lidl, the popular supermarket chain in the UK, has launched a promotion where shoppers can receive a free bakery item every time they shop, valid until February 25. This offers customers the chance to indulge in skilfully made baked goods from their in-store bakery, including fresh bread, croissants, and other pastries without any cost, apart from a minor purchase requirement. The items typically have prices ranging from 49p to 99p, making this a rewarding offer for bakery lovers.
To take advantage of the deal, customers simply need to make a purchase and scan the Lidl Plus app at the checkout to obtain a voucher for a free bakery item. However, there are exclusions; the promotion does not apply to purchases of infant formula or gift cards. After scanning, shoppers can choose from one of 23 bakery products, granting them a variety of sweet and savory options to enhance their shopping experience.
This initiative not only encourages more frequent shopping at Lidl but also highlights their competitive strategy against other supermarket chains in the UK, aiming to draw in customers with enticing promotions that spotlight their in-house bakery quality. As many consumers are becoming increasingly conscious about value and quality, such promotions could significantly influence shopping habits and boost customer loyalty to Lidl's brand.
