Indexo Bank has announced a change in its board of directors, with Zlata Elksniņa-Zaščirinska replacing Ramona Miglāne. This transition was officially documented in the Company Register on February 17. Alongside this change, the current chairman Valdis Vancovičs, vice-chairman Sven Dinsdorfs, and board members Mārtiņš Jaunarājs and Renāts Lokomets have had their terms extended from the same date.
Since its establishment on August 28, 2024, Indexo Bank has faced challenges, reporting losses of €6.162 million last year. The bank is solely owned by the investment transfer company Indexo, which has been operating as a public entity since its shares were listed on the official market of Nasdaq Riga in 2017. The financial health of Indexo is closely monitored, particularly after its significant losses.
As of December 2025, the composition of Indexo's shareholding revealed that the largest stakeholder is AS Alppes Capital, owned by Aigars Kesenfelds, holding 29.68% of shares, while Agris Evertovskis owns 6.61% through SIA EC Finance. The ongoing governance changes at Indexo Bank reflect its evolving strategy to navigate financial pressures in the competitive banking sector in Latvia.
