Estonian cross-country skiers are set to compete in the qualification round for the relay sprint at the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, with a live broadcast starting at 10:40 AM.
Today at 10:40 AM, ETV and ERR's sports portal will broadcast live the qualification round for the relay sprint in cross-country skiing at the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. Commentators Tarmo Tiisler and Taavi Lehemaa will provide insights, while reporter Johannes Vedru will cover the event on-site. The qualification format involves both team members skiing individually, with advancement determined by cumulative times.
In the women's qualification, 26 pairs will compete, representing Estonia with Mariel Merlii Pulles and Keidy Kaasiku, assigned starting number 12. Meanwhile, in the men's qualification, 27 pairs will participate, with Estonia represented by Karl Sebastian Dremljuga and Martin Himma, starting with number 16. This event has been part of the Olympic program since the 2006 Turin Games, and previous champions include Norway's Johannes HosflΓΆt KlΓ€bo and Erik Valnes in the men's events, and Germany's Katharina Hennig and Victoria Carl in the women's events from the 2022 Beijing Games.
