During a recent meeting, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, highlighted the significance of structured mechanisms like the Joint Nigeria-Iran Commission to translate goodwill into concrete outcomes. The Nigerian government is keen on reviewing the status of their bilateral relations and exploring new avenues for cooperation with Iran.

The discussions between Minister Odumegwu-Ojukwu and the Iranian Ambassador, Mahdavi Raja, underscored the importance of both countries maintaining full diplomatic representation in their respective capitals.
