Battle over Imran Khan's health in Pakistan, supporters take to the streets and blockade roads

Supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan are protesting against his deteriorating health and poor prison conditions in Islamabad, demanding his transfer to a private hospital for better care.

In Pakistan, protests continued for the fifth consecutive day in Islamabad organized by the opposition alliance, Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Ain Pakistan (TTAP), in response to former Prime Minister Imran Khan's worsening health conditions and the alleged inadequate facilities in prison. PTI supporters have blocked the vital Attock Bridge connecting Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, demonstrating their displeasure with the government's handling of Khan's situation. Khan's sister, Nourin Niazi, raised alarms on social media, claiming that due to unimaginable mistreatment in prison, 85% of Khan's vision in his right eye has been lost.
