Authorities in Queensland have made a significant drug bust in Airlie Beach, where they seized $100,000 worth of illegal substances, including cocaine and cannabis. The operation was conducted by the Mackay Whitsunday Tactical Crime Squad, which executed a search warrant at a local property, leading to the discovery of 255 grams of cocaine, cannabis, drug utensils, and cash. This incident highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to tackle drug trafficking and consumption in the area.

Following the bust, a 25-year-old man from the Sunshine Coast and a 22-year-old woman from Brisbane were charged with multiple offenses, including possession and trafficking of dangerous drugs. The woman also faces additional charges related to possessing property suspected of being connected to drug crimes, while the man has been charged for possessing tainted property. The police's proactive approach aims to disrupt the supply of illegal drugs in the community and uphold public safety.
