Upon moving to Alagoas, Ferraz was struck by the lack of a strong street Carnival presence in Maceió. He found it strange during the Carnival season to see little to no activities, which fueled his passion to revitalize the local Carnival scene. This led to the formation of Pinto da Madrugada, which aims to restore authentic Carnival celebrations in Maceió, showcasing traditional cultural elements and fostering community engagement.
