Traffic Jam Expected Tomorrow Due to AI Summit in Delhi, Read Traffic Advisory
Delhi traffic police has announced special traffic arrangements due to the AI Impact Summit being held at the Bharat Mandapam, affecting routes with VVIP movements.
Delhi traffic police has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the AI Impact Summit scheduled to take place at Bharat Mandapam from February 16 to 20, 2026. The advisory is particularly aimed at managing the expected VVIP movements linked to the summit, which will see representatives from over 30 countries, including ministers, senior officials, foreign representatives, and members from international organizations. Traffic restrictions and diversions are to be implemented from 4 PM to 10 PM on February 18, 2026.
The specific roads that will experience traffic control include Sardar Patel Marg, Mother Teresa Crescent, Teen Murti Marg, Akbar Road, Janpath, Windsor Place, Tees January Marg, Prithviraj Road, Rajesh Pilot Marg, Subramanyam Bharati Marg, and Mathura Road (from Lodhi Flyover to Bhairon Marg). Moreover, significant restrictions will also affect Shanti Path (between Satya Marg and Kautilya Marg), Africa Avenue, Satya Marg (from Yashwant Place to Shanti Path), and Dr. Zakir Husain Marg, intensifying traffic congestion in these areas as the summit draws nearer.
