A 28-year-old man has been apprehended in flagrante for sexual harassment inside an interstate bus on the BR-304 highway, under the jurisdiction of the Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF), in Mossoró, located in the Western part of the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The incident occurred on the afternoon of Monday, the 16th, when a passenger, traveling from Fortaleza to Salvador, reported the man for inappropriate behavior.

According to the PRF, the suspect was seated close to the victim and was watching explicit videos while making obscene gestures directed at her. The passenger managed to capture the situation on her mobile phone, providing crucial video evidence that led to the characterization of the arrest. The man's actions not only disrupted the safety and comfort of other passengers on the bus but also raised serious concerns regarding accountability in public transport.

Following the incident, the man was detained on the bus itself and taken to the local police station, the Delegacia de Plantão da Polícia Civil in Mossoró, along with the recorded materials.
