Paide Mayor Moves to Head Tartu Road Service
Paide Mayor Kaido Ivask has been appointed as the new head of the Tartu Road Service, starting March 9.
Kaido Ivask, the current mayor of Paide, has been selected to lead the Tartu Road Service following a public competition that featured three candidates. Ivask served as the mayor of Paide from 2011 to 2013 and returned to office in 2023, where he secured 277 votes in the recent local elections, marking him as the third best candidate from his party, Isamaa. His educational background includes a degree in civil engineering from Tallinn University of Technology, and he has worked in various roles within the road construction industry prior to his mayorship. His appointment to the Tartu Road Service highlights the local government's efforts to enhance its infrastructure team with experienced leadership.
