In an unusual event that captured the attention of drivers on the ES-490 highway between Cachoeiro de Itapemirim and Marataízes in Southern Espírito Santo, a sloth crossed the road, halting traffic on Carnival Monday. The incident occurred in the 'Matinha' section of the highway during late morning, causing concern among drivers. Radiology technician Leonardo Zandominighi, who witnessed the scene, promptly stopped his car in the middle of the road to prevent any accidents and help the sloth safely cross.
