In Uttar Pradesh's Auraiya district, a shocking murder case has come to light concerning 35-year-old Arjun Singh, whose body was found in a wheat field on February 14. Initially reported as a suspicious death, police launched an investigation following a complaint by Arjun's brother against unknown assailants. The local police conducted a thorough investigation with the involvement of surveillance and special teams.

On February 17, police made a startling revelation, identifying Bhanu, a friend of Arjun, as the murderer. Bhanu, who is a soldier on leave, had been speaking on the phone with Arjun's sister. After Arjun confronted his sister and scolded her for talking to Bhanu, the latter planned revenge due to this altercation. Knowing that Arjun often rested alone in the fields, Bhanu decided to carry out the murder.

The timeline indicates that on the night of February 13-14, Bhanu went to the field where Arjun was resting. The police have since arrested Bhanu, highlighting the tragic outcome of a personal dispute, marking a significant case in the region that raises concerns about violence stemming from jealousy and personal relationships during a day celebrated for love, Valentine's Day.
