A young man in Uttar Pradesh brutally murdered his sister-in-law after being rejected for marriage by her sister, believing she was the reason for the rejection.
In a shocking incident from Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, a 23-year-old man named Deepak murdered his sister-in-law, Karishma, after his marriage proposal to her younger sister was rejected. Deepak believed that Karishma was responsible for the rejection and, fueled by rage, he committed the heinous act using a sharp weapon to slit her throat, subsequently attempting to take his own life.
The events unfolded when Deepak proposed marriage to the younger sister of Karishma, the wife of his elder brother Pramod. When she declined his proposal, Deepak directed his anger towards Karishma, blaming her for the failed proposal. On Sunday, enraged and in a fit of agitation, Deepak acted on his impulses and murdered Karishma, resulting in a horrific scene that sent shockwaves through the family.
Following the murder, in a desperate act, Deepak attempted suicide by cutting his wrist with a blade at the scene of the crime. Family members rushed both victims to a local community health center where doctors pronounced Karishma dead on arrival, while Deepak was reported to be in critical condition.
