A ceremony commemorating the restoration of Lithuania's statehood took place in Šiauliai, featuring a flag-raising and a concert that highlighted Lithuania's historical values and unity.

In Šiauliai, a solemn ceremony was held at noon in Prisikėlimo Square to commemorate the Day of Restoration of the State of Lithuania, which included a flag-raising event and a theatrical program entitled 'Signatories and the Foundations of Values'. Participants felt an overwhelming sense of unity as Lithuania's national anthem filled the square while the national flag was raised, accompanied by the Šiauliai wind orchestra led by conductor Sigitas Vaičiulionis, and performances by soloist Živilė Gedvilaitė-Sitnikienė.

The event brought history to life, with actors such as Tomas Montvila, Aidas Matutis, Remigijus Pelenis, and Dalius Jančiauskas portraying the signatories of the Act of Independence, reminding the audience of the fundamental values of freedom that underpin Lithuania's identity.
