In an electrifying game, the Estonian ice hockey club Tallinn HC Panter clinched a crucial spot in the Baltic League quarterfinals with a solid 4-1 victory over HS Riga. The match saw a sluggish start with no goals in the first period, but HC Panter quickly gained momentum in the second period, showcasing their offensive prowess. Maxim Lovkov stood out by scoring three consecutive goals, all within a span of just over ten minutes, which became pivotal in securing the win.
