Epiq - the cheapest electric Škoda. What do we already know about this model?

Škoda introduces the Epiq, its new affordable electric vehicle built on the MEB+ platform, targeting practicality with spacious interior dimensions and competitive charging capabilities.

Škoda has unveiled the Epiq, its most economical electric vehicle designed to compete in the same segment as the combustion-engine Kamiq. Built on the MEB+ platform, which is also utilized for Volkswagen’s ID.Polo and ID.Cross, as well as Cupra's Ravala, the Epiq emphasizes practicality over performance, showcasing a higher ground clearance compared to its siblings. This makes it particularly appealing to buyers looking for functionality in their electric vehicles.

The new Škoda Epiq measures 4171 mm in length, 1798 mm in width, and 1620 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2601 mm, which contributes to its spacious interior. It boasts a remarkably large trunk capacity of 475 liters as standard, extendable to 1344 liters by folding down the rear seats. Škoda has emphasized clever storage solutions and space organization to enhance user experience, further solidifying its commitment to practicality.

In terms of technological capabilities, the Epiq supports charging of up to 125 kW, allowing the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in just 23 minutes. The model will be available in three distinct variants, catering to diverse consumer preferences, and represents Škoda's growing portfolio in the electric vehicle market, reinforcing its position in the automotive industry as it shifts toward sustainable mobility solutions.
