The police identified him as one of the shooters and stated that he reacted violently when approached by law enforcement in Bragança, northeastern Pará. He was shot during the altercation and, despite being transported for medical attention, succumbed to his injuries. Additionally, a .22 caliber firearm was confiscated during the incident.
According to reports from the Civil Police, a total of six suspects have been identified in connection with the assault on the municipal guards. Out of these, two suspects were killed in previous confrontations with police, and two others have been arrested. The day prior, on Saturday the 14th, further arrests were made in the rural area of Senador José Porfírio, south of Pará, where authorities seized five firearms, including revolvers, pistols, a rifle, and a shotgun that were purportedly used in the attack.
