Economy: Call for a Quick Connection to the Town Halls

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) in the airport region seeks better communication with local authorities as it presents a list of demands to the newly elected councils and mayors during the municipal election campaign.

In the lead-up to the municipal elections, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) is staying out of party politics while putting forth a list of requests aimed at local councils and mayors in the airport region. Although most businesses in the Freising and Erding districts are satisfied with their location, they have expressed a need for improvement, particularly in their interactions with government authorities. The IHK currently represents about 22,500 enterprises from trade, services, and industry in this region, and the overall sentiment amongst these businesses is positive, with ratings of 2.0 in Freising and 2.1 in Erding for 2025, reflecting a stability compared to the previous year.
