On the evening of Sunday, October 15, a rollover accident on the PE-365 in the Sertão region of Pernambuco claimed the life of a man and left a child injured. The identities and ages of the victims have not been disclosed, but they were passengers in a private vehicle that overturned near the entrance to the town of Santa Cruz da Baixa Verde. This tragic incident drew emergency response teams to the scene shortly after it occurred.

The Pernambuco Military Fire Corps (CBMPE) received the emergency call at approximately 7:46 PM and quickly dispatched two teams to attend to the situation. Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries at the site of the accident. Meanwhile, the child was rescued and transported to the hospital in Santa Cruz da Baixa Verde for further treatment, although there has been no update on the child's condition as of now.

Local law enforcement, including teams from the Military Police (PM), also arrived to secure the area and manage the scene of the accident. Investigation efforts by the Civil Police are currently underway to determine the circumstances that led to this unfortunate incident, highlighting ongoing concerns regarding road safety in the region.
