On Monday, a disturbing incident took place in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, where the bodies of a married couple were discovered hanging from a ceiling fan in their room. The couple, identified as Rohit Vishwakarma (27) and his wife Saraswati Vishwakarma (23), allegedly took their own lives, as indicated by a suicide note found at the scene. In the note, the woman expressed that they were taking this step of their own volition and requested that no one be troubled by their decision.
The grim discovery was made around 10 am when Rohit's younger brother became concerned after the couple's room remained closed for an extended period. After knocking without response, he peered through the window and found them hanging, which led him to immediately inform other family members. They forced open the door, but despite their efforts to bring the couple down, it was too late and they were already deceased.
