On the afternoon of February 16th, just a day before the Lunar New Year, South Korea's highways are experiencing significant traffic congestion, particularly on routes leading to major cities. According to the Korea Expressway Corporation, the estimated travel time from Seoul to Busan is currently at 4 hours and 30 minutes, with other destinations like Ulsan and Mokpo also showing extended travel times due to the heavy holiday traffic. Specific congested areas along the Gyeongbu Expressway, which runs from Seoul to Busan, include a 13 km stretch from Oksan Junction to Nami Junction and several other regions suffering from slow-moving vehicles.
