6 Palestinians injured in attacks by occupation army and settlers in the West Bank
Six Palestinians were injured by Israeli army gunfire and assaults by settlers in various areas of the West Bank.
On Sunday, six Palestinians sustained injuries from gunfire by the Israeli army and assaults by settlers in different locations across the West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams transported four of the injured to hospitals in several Palestinian cities, along with additional casualties identified in the morning. In the town of Al-Ram, near Jerusalem, a worker was shot in the legs while attempting to cross the separation barrier seeking employment in Israel. Meanwhile, in northern areas of the West Bank, medical teams reported transporting a person to the hospital after suffering injuries from settler violence.
In another incident in southern West Bank, two individuals were injured due to assaults by the Israeli army in the al-Jalajal region of Bani Na'im, east of Hebron. Additionally, according to the Palestinian news agency (Wafa), Israeli forces raided a home belonging to the Rajabi family in the town and physically assaulted the residents, leading to injuries for the man named Kamal Rajabi and his wife, both of whom required medical attention at a hospital in Hebron. The ongoing violence in the West Bank reflects heightened tensions due to the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
These incidents are part of a larger pattern of violence and tension that has been prevalent in the West Bank, raising concerns over the safety and human rights of Palestinian residents. The impact of military operations and settler aggressions on local communities continues to provoke widespread criticism from human rights organizations and poses significant challenges to peace efforts in the region.
