The Indersdorf Carnival parade is a highly anticipated annual event that draws thousands of visitors, showcasing a colorful and festive atmosphere reminiscent of festivities in the Rhineland. This year, approximately 20,000 attendees gathered along the parade route and at the marketplace, including a large number of participants from over 69 registered floats and groups, creating a lively scene filled with music, costumes, and joyful celebrations.

To ensure the safety and smooth operation of the event, there was a considerable security presence, including around 100 security personnel and at least 60 police officers, along with numerous volunteers who helped manage the flow of participants and spectators. Despite the extensive preparations, the exact number of helpers remained difficult to ascertain, even for members of the Carnival Committee who were busy overseeing the parade lineup in their striking red capes.

The early roll-in of the elaborately designed floats began more than two hours before the scheduled start of what is considered the largest carnival parade in the region, setting the stage for an exciting day filled with entertainment.
