Elīna Ieva Bota, who achieved a silver medal in luge at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina, will return to Latvia on February 17. The Latvian Olympic Committee (LOK) announced this on Sunday, inviting the public to celebrate her and the accompanying team of athletes and coaches. The welcoming event is scheduled to happen at approximately 8:00 PM at the Sigulda railway station, where she will be honored particularly for her achievements. Specially decorated vehicles will accompany the athletes, backed by the State Police, adding to the significance of the moment.
