The government of Amapá has announced the official calendar for Carnival 2026, detailing a packed schedule that includes samba school parades, neighborhood blocks, religious events, and concerts. The celebrations will kick off with the traditional 'Carnaval do Povo' and will culminate in the official parades at the Sambódromo de Macapá over the weekend of February 13-14, 2026.
On Saturday, February 14, the second night of samba school parades will take place, followed by the evaluation of the Carnival results on the Wednesday after the main events. In addition to the grand parades, there will be a vibrant street carnival circuit known as the 'Circuito das Entidades Carnavalescas,' which will include numerous blocks and associations, focusing activities along the Beira-Rio region from the Praça do Coco to the Casa do Artesão.
