Tamanna Malik, a woman from Sambhal district in Uttar Pradesh, has become a subject of much discussion following the viral video of her carrying a Kanwar while dressed in a Burka. In an interview with Aaj Tak, she explained that her pilgrimage was in fulfillment of a vow she had made to God, specifically for her marriage to Aman Tyagi. Upon the successful completion of her marriage, she promised to undertake the Kanwar yatra in celebration of her fulfillment and spiritual gratitude. During her journey, she was accompanied by her husband, and they plan to perform a ritual at the Chhaimanath Tirth for Mahashivratri.
