Following the complaint, police authorities acted swiftly to verify the authenticity of the video. Subsequently, they managed to recover the child safely from the Chiminibhati area and placed him in the custody of the Child Welfare Committee to ensure his safety and well-being. Sub-divisional police officer Pramod Kumar Malik stated that two individuals, including the father, have been taken into custody as investigations into the broader network of individuals involved in this disturbing incident are underway.
