The Tarado Ni Você block party in São Paulo, celebrating its 12th year, honors the music of Caetano Veloso with a theme dedicated to Brazilian cinema.

The Tarado Ni Você block party took place in São Paulo on Saturday (14), attracting a large crowd between Ipiranga and São João avenues. This year marks the 12th anniversary of the block, which is known for paying tribute to the beloved Brazilian artist Caetano Veloso. The theme for this carnival is "Transcendental Cinema," celebrating the achievements of Brazilian cinema over the past year. As attendees joined the festivities, they enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere, filled with music and costumes.

However, the presence of construction barriers in Praça da República affected the flow of participants and street vendors, making it difficult for the electric trio to navigate through the crowd. Despite these challenges, carnival-goers, including famous personalities like presenter Titi Müller, shared their enthusiasm. Müller mentioned her excitement for a day without her 5-year-old child, stating that preparations for the celebrations began early in the morning to make the most of the carnival experience.

The block also featured performances by artists such as Any Gabrielly, a former member of the group Now United, who entertained the attendees from the electric trio. Vendors added to the festive ambience, with individuals like 20-year-old Ariel dressing up as an extraterrestrial while selling their goods. The event underscores the vibrant cultural spirit of São Paulo during carnival season, bringing together music, cinema, and community celebration in a lively environment.
