Classes in SP Shopping teach how to customize accessories for pets during Carnival

Free workshops in São Paulo will teach pet owners how to customize Carnival accessories for their pets, ensuring comfort and safety during the festivities.

In São Paulo, a series of free workshops will be held this weekend, teaching pet owners how to customize accessories for their pets to celebrate Carnival. The event will take place at Shopping Pátio Paulista in collaboration with the NGO Instituto Ampara Animal, which emphasizes the importance of using safe materials that do not discomfort the animals. Participants will learn to create items like bandanas that are festive yet comfortable for their pets to wear.

Raquel Facuri, the operations director of Instituto Ampara Animal, highlighted the emotional bond that pets share with families and the importance of tailoring experiences to ensure their well-being during special occasions like Carnival. The workshops aim to enhance the human-animal relationship and raise awareness about the responsibility that comes with pet ownership, particularly in festive settings where pets are involved.

The "Pet Carnival Accessories Workshop" will occur on Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15, from noon until 6 PM, with workshops every hour, the last session starting at 5 PM. Attendance is free, but participants must reserve tickets via the Iguatemi One app, with a requirement for children to be accompanied by an adult. This initiative not only promotes creativity but also reinforces the notion of pets as integral members of the community.
