On February 14, as a recovery vehicle approached the site of the overturned truck to assist with the towing, another Mercedes truck, traveling in the same direction, crashed into the recovery vehicle. The impact caused the recovery vehicle to veer off the road and end up in a snowdrift, while part of the overturned truck remained on the street, obstructing traffic further.
