Pabllo Vittar, Minhoqueens, Agrada Gregos, and more: see LGBT+ blocks to enjoy Carnival in SP

São Paulo's 2026 Carnival will feature a variety of LGBT+ blocks celebrating diversity and inclusion, with an expected 16 million participants.

The 2026 street carnival in São Paulo promises to be a vibrant celebration of diversity, particularly through its strong LGBT+ representation. With a total of 627 blocks scheduled throughout the pre-carnival, main carnival, and post-carnival periods, the city anticipates welcoming 16 million revelers over eight days of festivities. This highlights the importance of inclusivity in one of Brazil's most cherished cultural events.

Among the standout attractions are the megablocos at Ibirapuera Park on Saturday, which will be headlined by pop icon Pabllo Vittar, accompanied by artists S4TAN and Kaya Conky. Following this star-studded performance, the iconic Agrada Gregos block will showcase legendary performers including Gretchen, Gloria Groove, and Traemme, underlining the rich tapestry of Brazilian pop culture and supporting LGBTQIA+ visibility.

Additionally, the Minhoqueens block will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a spectacular event featuring drag culture on Avenida do Ipiranga, supported by artists such as Lia Clark and MC Xuxu. The Ezatamentchy block will also play a crucial role, recognized for its efforts in promoting visibility for transgender and travesty artists. These initiatives not only entertain but also foster essential conversations around diversity and representation in the arts and society.
