Applications for Agniveer Recruitment Start, Opportunity for 8th Pass Candidates Too

The Indian Army has opened applications for the Agniveer recruitment scheme, inviting unmarried male and female candidates across the country to apply online for over 25,000 positions.

The Indian Army has announced the commencement of applications for the Agniveer recruitment process, aimed at enlisting unmarried men and women who are keen to serve the nation. This scheme provides a significant opportunity, especially for those who have completed their 8th grade, as the recruitment aims to fill over 25,000 positions in various roles such as General Duty (GD), Technical, Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, and Tradesman across the country, facilitating a substantial entry point into military service.

According to the official notification, candidates applying for the General Duty (GD) position must have completed their 10th grade, with a minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks and at least 33 percent in each subject. For the Technical position, candidates are required to have passed their 12th grade with subjects in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English), with similar percentage criteria, or must have completed a two-year ITI course alongside their 10th grade. Additionally, the criteria for applying for the Clerk/SKT position also involve specific 12th-grade qualifications.

This recruitment initiative not only promises to strengthen the Indian Army's manpower but also provides a pathway for numerous young individuals eager to embark on a career in the military.
