An auction for part of the historic Parahyba Textile Factory site in São José dos Campos is underway, with starting bids set at R$ 195 million. This site, classified as a national heritage by the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (Iphan), spans approximately 521,000 square meters in the Santana neighborhood of the northern region of the city, adjacent to the City Park. The current owners of the property have retained it since 2003.
