On the morning of October 13, 2023, Brazilian authorities arrested José Ailton da Silva Ferreira, also known as Milton, in connection with the murder of his ex-partner, 47-year-old Claudia Alves. The arrest was carried out by the 9th Specialized Police Station for Women's Assistance, following a preventive arrest warrant issued by the Criminal Court of Garanhuns.
